About this formulation
Garcipan Tablet is a single-herb preparation built around the dried fruit rind of Garcinia gummi-gutta, known in ayurveda as Vrikshamla and in the trade as Garcinia cambogia. Each coated tablet carries 1000 mg of extract standardised to 60 per cent hydroxycitric acid (HCA), the constituent the formulation is designed around. It is intended as a supporting product within a weight-management routine that also includes a controlled diet and regular activity, rather than as a substitute for either.
The herb, and why it is here
Vrikshamla (Garcinia gummi-gutta) — the sour rind of the fruit has long been used along the western coast of India both as a souring agent in cooking and, in traditional practice, as a digestive drug. Present-day interest centres on hydroxycitric acid, drawn from the peel, which is associated with appetite regulation through serotonin uptake in the brain and with the enzyme pathway involved in converting surplus carbohydrate into stored fat. The same constituent has been examined in relation to cholesterol and triglyceride levels in overweight adults.
Standardising the extract to a declared 60 per cent HCA means each batch delivers a stated quantity of the marker compound rather than a variable one. That matters for the consistency of the finished tablet and for the specification your own quality team will hold us to.
Because the formulation is single-herb, the dosage form carries the rest of the work. The tablet is film-coated with HPMC, which keeps the characteristically sour extract palatable and protects the core from moisture during storage and transport in Indian conditions.

Garcipan Tablet is manufactured at our GMP-certified unit and is available for third-party and private-label manufacturing. HCA percentage, tablet weight, blister or bottle packing, pack sizes and label artwork can be adjusted to your specification, and we are able to work from your own formulation sheet where you have one. Certificates of analysis covering identity, assay of the marker compound, microbial limits and heavy metals are supplied with each consignment.
