About this formulation

Green coffee beans are simply coffee beans that have not been roasted. The distinction matters because roasting, which develops the aroma and flavour of the beverage, also reduces the chlorogenic acid content of the bean. Unroasted beans therefore carry a markedly higher level of chlorogenic acids than the roasted coffee most people drink, and it is that fraction, not the caffeine, that the extract is made for.

Green Coffee Bean Capsule contains 400 mg of dry extract per capsule, assayed to not less than 50% chlorogenic acids.

The extract, and what it carries

Chlorogenic acids — the constituent by which the extract is standardised. They are the compounds associated with green coffee’s use in weight management, in supporting glucose metabolism and in cardiovascular formulations, and they are the reason the bean is processed green rather than roasted.

Antioxidant polyphenols — beyond the chlorogenic acid fraction, the unroasted bean carries a broad group of polyphenols that contribute to the extract’s overall antioxidant capacity.

Naturally occurring caffeine — present in the bean and therefore in the extract, though at a level determined by the raw material rather than added. It is worth noting on label copy for markets that require a caffeine declaration.

Because the formulation is single-ingredient and standardised, it suits customers building a slimming, sports nutrition or metabolic support range, and it blends readily with other actives where a combination product is wanted.

Green Coffee Bean Capsule is manufactured at our GMP-certified unit and is available for third-party and private-label manufacturing. Chlorogenic acid specification, capsule size, count per container, bottle or blister packing and label artwork can be tailored to your requirement. Certificates of analysis are supplied with each consignment.
