About this formulation
Sustained stress rarely presents as one symptom. It shows up as disturbed sleep, loss of mental concentration, irritability and a general sense of being wound up, and over time it draws in the digestion and the circulation as well. Ayurveda reads this through three sub-doshas that govern the mind: prana vata, which governs the brain and sensory perception, tarpaka kapha, which governs the cerebro-spinal fluid, and sadhaka pitta, which governs the emotions and their effect on the heart.
Silencer Tablet combines six herbs traditionally used across those three areas — adaptogens, nervine tonics and one classical sedative herb — in a single coated tablet intended for use at bedtime.
The herbs, and why they are here
Jatamansi (Nardostachys jatamansi) — the rhizome yields jatamansone, and the herb is used in ayurveda to relieve nervousness and irritability. It is traditionally described as working synergistically with Ashwagandha and Brahmi, which is how it is used here.
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) — the best known Indian adaptogen. It is a vata suppressant used to nourish the nervous system, support the body’s resilience to stress and support normal immune function.
Mandukparni (Centella asiatica) — known in India as a brain food. It is unusual in being stimulating to mental clarity while remaining calming to an overactive nervous system.
Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri) — the principal rasayana for the nervous system, associated with memory, concentration, tranquillity and cerebral circulation.
Shankhpushpi (Evolvulus alsinoides) — a classical brain tonic, used to support memory and intellect.
Khurasani Ajwain (Hyoscyamus niger) — a traditional sedative and antispasmodic seed, included in a small quantity to support the settling action of the formulation.

Silencer Tablet is manufactured at our GMP-certified unit and is available for third-party and private-label manufacturing. Blister or bottle packing, pack sizes and label artwork can be tailored to your requirement. Certificates of analysis are supplied with each consignment.
